Adding TweetMeme (Retweet) Button to Your Blog

Adding Twitter button to Blogger blogIf you want to broadens your website and blog's audience through Twitter, you can encourage your readers to share your content by retweet it on Twitter. Simply put a Retweet button provided by TweetMeme service in your layout to make it easy for them to share your content.

For this blog I put the code above the line

to make Retweet button appear on each post header. I also set its div style to float:right and set padding to make the button fit nicely at the top-right corner of each post (click on screenshot to see it larger):

The button will automatically grab the URL of the page it is placed on, and also give you up to date tweet counts and shorten your title and link for the retweets. If you are using Wordpress you may use TweetMeme WordPress Plugin.
